When Shutdown FX picks a graphic effect, it can either pick one at random from the list of currently available fades, or it can cycle through the fades in alphabetical order.  You can control this option with the menu items 窶弃ick fades at random窶 and 窶弃ick fades sequentially窶 under the 窶廾ptions窶 menu.

This option takes effect immediately.
